Englewood Christian Assembly of God is blessed to have Rev. Timothy Scarbrough, an ordained Assembly of God minister as our Pastor. As he says, "I am called by God to minister with promise in proclaiming the Word of God. As the Apostle Paul wrote 'Woe unto me if I preach not the gospel'!"
He is a true shepherd who is passionate about God, life and people. He comes to us with twenty years of ministry experience and we are blessed as he ministers through the power of the Holy Spirit. He has served as a founding pastor, senior pastor, associate pastor and youth pastor. Further, he has ministered as a district presbyter and on many community boards.
He is married to Sister Lisa and they have two children (adults now) who love the Lord. All who meet Pastor Scarbrough are blessed by his contagious love to serve the Lord. |
Sister Lisa has been married to Pastor Scarbrough for twenty five years. She is a minister/evangelist who preaches locally, nationally, and internationally, travelling throughout the week but she always tries to be with us on Sundays. She has recently closed a chapter in her life wherein she served as the South Carolina Assemblies of God District Women’s Ministries Director, while the Scarbrough's served in that state.
Lisa has an anointing in administration and a great ability to birth strong outreach ministries. She has birthed the remarkable Hope Women's Crisis Center, a Children’s Day Care Ministry and assisted Pastor in birthing Bluffton Assembly of God. Today, she serves to assist her husband and bless ECAG as the Lord leads.
